Official Tournament Ruleset
General Overview
Takedown Tournaments hosts competitive online tournaments for The Finals using private match lobbies in Cashout mode. Each tournament follows a structured, multi-round elimination format, ending in a final match where one team claims the prize.

Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years or older to compete in cash prize tournaments

Players must have a stable internet connection and working game client

All players must join the Takedown Tournaments Discord server for communication and updates
Registration
-
All players must register at: 👉 www.takedowntournaments.com

Registration spots are limited each week and filled on a first-come basis

Once full, no additional players will be accepted
Takedown Tournaments reserves the right to:

Modify tournament dates, times, pricing, or format prior to the event

Cancel or reschedule events if necessary
Minimum Player Requirement

A minimum of 30 players is required for a tournament to run

If the minimum is not met:
-
The tournament may be rescheduled or canceled
-
Players will be notified via Discord
-
Refunds or credits may be issued at the discretion of Takedown Tournaments

Check-in
-
All participants must check in prior to the tournament start time by commenting "Ready" in the Takedown Tournaments Discord chat titled "Check-in"
-
A maximum grace period of 5 minutes is allowed for late check-ins
-
After this period:
-
Teams will be finalized
-
Matches will begin
-
Late players may be excluded without refund
-
Tournament Format
Round Structure:
-
Teams compete in private matches consisting of 4 teams (12 players per match)
-
The top 2 teams (highest cash extracted) advance to the next round
Progression:
-
This process repeats through multiple rounds
-
Teams are re-grouped between rounds
Final Round:
-
The final consists of 2 teams
-
The first team to reach $50,000 cashout wins the tournament and recieves the cash prize. This prize total is then divided and sent to each team member.

Match Procedure

Matches are hosted using The Finals Private Match system
-
A unique match code will be sent via Discord group message
-
Players must join only their assigned match

Matches will begin only after:

All players are verified
-
Teams are confirmed by the host
-
Between Matches
-
There will be short downtime between rounds as players wait for their next matchup (about 20 minutes or as needed).

Updates and next match times will be communicated via Discord
-
Players are responsible for staying attentive and ready
Disconnect Policy
Unintentional disconnections may occur. The match may be restarted at admin discretion:

If a player disconnects before any team has scored ($0 cashout, or cashout in progress)
-
If the disconnected player notifies Takedown Tournaments via the Discord server immediately and have an internet connection that allows them to reload within 5 minutes.
Repeat Disconnects:
-
If the same player disconnects again, whether before or after any team cashouts, the match will continue. If that player's team wins the match, the disconnected player can rejoin at the next round.
Refund Policy:

Entry fees are non-refundable. Players are responsible for checking into a tournament on time and abiding by the tournament rules.

Players who unintentionally disconnect early are eligible for up to 50% refund of the tournament entry fee and is subject to admin discretion.
Cheating & Fair Play
The following are strictly prohibited:

Hacks, cheats, or third-party software
-
Exploiting game glitches or bugs
-
Collusion between teams
-
Stream sniping or outside assistance
Enforcement:

Takedown Tournaments relies on in-game anti-cheat software, however tournaments are monitored in real time by a spectator host.
Violations of the tournament policy or participation in any of the prohibited items listed above will result in:

Immediate disqualification
-
Removal from tournament
-
Ban from future events
-
Forfeiture of winnings
Conduct
All participants must:

Treat others with respect
-
Follow instructions from tournament staff
-
Avoid toxic behavior, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct

Violations may result in:

-
Disqualification

Permanent ban from future tournaments
Payouts
The winning team of the final round receives the full prize listed for that tournament . The cash prize is divided equally among team members and then sent individually using one of the following methods.

Venmo
Players must:

Have a valid PayPal or Venmo account before registering

Provide accurate payment information at tournament registration
Timing:

Payouts are issued immediately after the tournament or within 24 hours
Leaderboard & Stats
Player performance will be tracked across tournaments and be posted/updated at the end of each week on the Takedown Tournaments website.

Disputes
Any and all disputes must be reported to Takedown Tournaments via Discord immediately

The tournament administrator will review and make a decision based off the available evidence.

All decisions made by Takedown Tournaments are final.
Admin Rights
Takedown Tournaments reserves the right to:

Modify tournament rules, schedules, or match format as needed.

Restart matches due to technical issues
-
Disqualify players at any time if they are in violation of the policy listed here.

Make final decisions on all matters

By registering and participating, all players agree to abide by these rules and decisions made by Takedown Tournaments. Enjoy the tournament!
